I went to my first Yelp Elite event on Monday night, Sensory Overload @ Aura. It completely surpassed my expectations. Yelp hosts monthly thank you events for its Elite members (basically people who post a lot, but there’s an election process - more info. here) and this was one of the more upscale events for Boston Elite’s. It was a 3 hour semi-formal cocktail party, with wine and food pairings. All guests received gift certificates to Aura as well as a bunch of promotional items. I was invited as the +1 of a friend and am now motivated to achieve Elite status of my own!
